课文学习的基本步骤和方法
课文是学生英语学习中最重要的语言素材，也是学生接受语音、词语、语法与各种习惯用法等的最重要来源。从语言学习的规律和目的出发，学习课文的指导思想应该是：（1）把课文视为接受语言信息的宝库；（2）挖掘宝库，开发语言运用能力。学好课文至少应做到：
（1）通读一遍，掌握课文梗概。
（2）从文首或文中的某个时间状语或上下文的联系中，确定整个短文的时态。
